【摘要】:Thevaluesobtainedbythistestmethodareapplicableonlytoconditionsthatspecificallyduplicatetheproceduresused.Aftertheregressioncharacteristicsofapipematerialandmanufacturingprocesshavebeendeterminedbythistestmethod,onepressuremaybeusedforquality-controlpurposes.Thispressureshallbeoneofthepointsusedintheoriginaldeterminationandbeagreeduponbetweentheindividualsconcerned.Thistestmethoddealswithcyclicinternalpressureperformanceofapipeandomitscreepandnonrecoverabledeformationmeasurements.FordeterminationofthecyclichydrostaticdesignbasisusingdatafromthistestmethodseePracticeD2992.Intheapplicationofthefollowingtestrequirementsandrecommendationsitisassumedthattestspecimensofagivensampleofpipearetrulyrepresentativeofthatmaterialandmanufacturingprocess.Intestsconductedtoshowtheeffectoftemperatureandpressuresonthelifespanofthepipe,greatcaremustbetakentoensurethatthespecimensbeingtestedarerepresentativeofthegroupbeingstudied.Departurefromthisassumptioncouldintroducediscrepanciesthataregreaterthanthoseintroducedbydeparturefromthedetailsoftheprocedureoutlinedinthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthefailurecharacteristicsofreinforcedplasticpipewhensubjectedtocyclicinternalhydraulicpressure.Itislimitedtopipeinwhichtheratioofoutsidediametertowallthicknessis10:1ormore.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1--ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
