【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthedefinitionofthesystem,classification,functions,human-machineinterface(HMI)andtestmethodsforlanedeparturewarningsystems.Thesearein-vehiclesystemsthatcanwarnthedriverofalanedepartureonhighwaysandhighway-likeroads.Thesubjectsystem,whichmayutilizeoptical,electromagnetic,GPSorothersensortechnologies,issuesawarningconsistentwiththevisiblelanemarkings.Theissuanceofwarningsatroadwaysectionshavingtemporaryorirregularlanemarkings(suchasroadworkzones)isnotwithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.ThisInternationalStandardappliestopassengercars,commercialvehiclesandbuses.Thesystemwillnottakeanyautomaticactiontopreventpossiblelanedepartures.Responsibilityforthesafeoperationofthevehicleremainswiththedriver.
