【摘要】:SingleTestCord8212;Adhesivetreatingofcordssinglyoradhesivetreatingindividualendssimultaneously(referredtoasx201C;multi-cordtreatingx201D;asopposedtox201C;fabrictreatingx201D;)andwindingthecordsassingleendsisthemostcommonlaboratorymethodofpreparingreinforcementmaterialsforevaluationinreinforcedrubberarticlessuchastires,belts,andhoses.Thissystemofadhesivetreatingfacilitatesthestudyofalargenumberofadhesionvariablesatminimumcost.Thistestmethodprovidesagoodcomparisonofvariablesonadhesionbecauseitproducesbothanaveragenumericalvalueofpeelforceoverseverallinearcentimetresofcordandprovidesconvenientspecimensforassessingappearance(see11.3)ofthepeeledareaaswell.Itmaybeusedforpurchasespecificationrequirementsforadhesivetreatedcords,steeltirecord,adhesives,rubbercompounds,ormanufacturingcontrolofsuchproducts.Preparationofweftlessfabricfromsinglecordisnotrecommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsoftirecordfabricbecausesinglecordsoflonglengthcannotbeconvenientlyobtainedfromfabricfordrumwinding.See5.2.2.Thistestmethodisusuallynotpreferredforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofadhesivetreatedcord,suchassingleendcordforhose.Themoreusualandconvenientmethodforacceptancetestingofsuchsinglecordsistopreparefromashipmentatestpieceorarticleinthesamemannerasthecommercialarticletobeproducedandtotestcord-adhesioncharacteristicsinthispieceinamannerthatcomparesitsadhesioncharacteristicsagainstapreviouslyestablished,acceptablecontrol.x201C;Hx201D;andx201C;Ux201D;tests(TestMethods)provideconvenientandrapidadhesionresultsforacceptancetestingoftextilecordsifneeded.Forsteelcord,TestMethodD2229providesconvenientandrapidadhesionresults.UsingWovenFabric8212;Thewovenfabricmethodof4.2-4.4isoftenchosenforrapidadhesiontestingoftextilewovenfabricbeingadhesivetreatedinlargevolume.Fabricistestedx201C;asisx201D;and,throughexperience,constitutesavaluableprocesscontroltool.Thesamebasictestcanbeconvenientlyexecutedbythereceivingcustomerforprocesscontrolpurposesbysamplingrubberizedfabricfromthattobeprocessedintofinishedrubberarticles.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofadhesivetreatedfabric,butduplicatenumericalvaluesforpeelforceandappearancearenottobeexpectedbetweentwotestinglocations.Rubbercompounddifferencesareonlyoneofmanyparametersaffectingpeelforceandappearance.Nevertheless,theexpectedrangeofvalueswhichcharacterizeacceptableadhesioncanbedeterminedinanycord-rubbercombinationwithexperience.Forthisreason,thebuyernormallyestablishesaminimumlevelofadhesiontobeobtainedbythesellerintheseller''slaboratoryusingeithertheseller''sstandardrubbercompoundorthebuyer''srubbercompoundonthefabricmadetothebuyer''sspecification.IncaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingTestMethodD4393foracceptancetestingofcommercialship......
