【摘要】:Thispracticeisforusebydesignersandspecifiers,regulatoryagencies,owners,andinspectionorganizationswhoareinvolvedintherehabilitationofconduitsthroughtheuseofaresin-impregnatedtubeinvertedthroughtheexistingconduit.Asforanypractice,modificationsmayberequiredforspecificjobconditions.1.1Thispracticedescribestheproceduresforthereconstructionofpipelinesandconduits(4to108-in.diameter)bytheinstallationofaresin-impregnated,flexibletubewhichisinvertedintotheexistingconduitbyuseofahydrostaticheadorairpressure.Theresiniscuredbycirculatinghotwaterorintroducingcontrolledsteamwithinthetube.Whencured,thefinishedpipewillbecontinuousandtight-fitting.Thisreconstructionprocesscanbeusedinavarietyofgravityandpressureapplicationssuchassanitarysewers,stormsewers,processpiping,electricalconduits,andventilationsystems.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,see7.4.2.
